We thoroughly enjoyed the music of Classical Jam last spring as part of the audience at a retirement home. The repertoire varied from classical to pop and folk tunes. The group clearly enjoys playing together. We especially appreciated the duet and trio numbers featuring the specific skills of some the members on flute, piano, trombone etc. It was a pleasure to listen to folks who love making music!

Along with the resident audience, we enjoyed a performance by Classical Jam. We found the group accomplished and entertaining including violins, piano and flute. They seemed to enjoy themselves as well.
A trio of piano,flute and violin was exhilarating to listen to.
Each selection was explained by conductor, Ruthanne Fryer.
The final song, “Sweet Caroline”, was received with enthusiastic participation and left everyone feeling good.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Classical Jam on several occasions. They masterfully blend Classical, folk and even modern pieces— all on a gorgeous array of string instruments. They masterfully blend delicate balance of their sound was both soothing and uplifting. If you ever get a chance to experience them, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Their music brings such a warm sense of connection to every listener.
